Randi Cohen has been a mental health counselor and a supervising mental health counselor for many years. She works with individuals & couples. She runs counseling groups and training groups. Before entering the counseling field, she was involved in education--teaching students, training teachers and supervising teachers. Randi has an MA and PhD in foreign language education and an MS in clinical counseling. She is gestalt certified, a certified mediator and she does bilingual (Spanish) psychotherapy. She is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC)and a national "Approved Clinical Supervisor" (ACS). She is past co-chairwoman of the PR committee for OCA and is past president for OACES. She was named “Counselor of the Year 2001” for the state of Ohio by the Ohio Counseling Association. She was also named “Practitioner of the year 2002” by South Eastern Ohio Counseling Association. She was recently presented with the CAVA (Community Against Violence and Abuse) award given by Franklin County Children's Services, for her anti-bullying work in the schools with teachers, parents, school nurses and social workers. In 2005, she was appointed by Governor Bob Taft to serve on the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. view resume

Philip Yassenoff has successfully worked to promote personal and professional growth for over 20 years with a wide variety of individuals, couples and groups. He has worked as a clinician, supervisor, trainer, and administrator. Philip has been described, by clients and colleagues, as compassionate and insightful. He works primarily with adults and is focusing his efforts on his specialty and his love...working with gambling treatment. Prior to joining this practice, Philip was the clinical director of one of the country's largest outpatient gambling treatment programs, and worked extensively to promote an integration of mental health and addiction methods. Currently he is active in co-presenting the following workshops with Randi Cohen: "Supervising in Depth," "Supervising with Intention" and "Advanced Ethics, and The Ethics of Multicultural Understanding." Coming this Fall, they will begin teaching a course called "Therapy in Depth" which will help therapists learn to work deeper and with more focus. He also provides supervision for mental health counselors, and has a special interest in helping beginning counselors with navigating the challenges of building a lasting career. Jill M. McClellan has been in private practice and worked in community agencies for more than 15 years. As a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), she has provided mental health and chemical dependency counseling services in out-patient and in-patient medical facilities, organized and implemented employee assistance programs (EAPs), and coordinated intervention programs for DUI offenders. Throughout her career, Jill has worked effectively with children, adolescents, adults and families. She supervises counselors-in-training and is gestalt certified. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and has served as an adjunct instructor in the University of Dayton Counselor Education Program.
