Get TWO YEARS of CEUs INCLUDING ETHICS (30 CEUs!)and your supervision credits needed for the Ohio CSWMFT board approved supervision credential.
Supervision is the art of nurturing the growth of other professionals as they embrace the challenges of working as counselors or social workers. This three-day clinical supervision institute offers teaching, discussions, and experiential learning opportunities. It also provides participants with a deeper understanding of the responsibilities, joys & pitfalls of being a supervisor. Supervision will be explored as its own discipline, separate from counseling, and with an emphasis on helping the supervisee grow as a professional, not simply managing the supervisees’ cases by proxy. Participants should expect to work and share. We will not only be looking at models of supervision, but will also provide ample opportunity to practice within the context of the institute. Please know that because the group is limited in size, you will be expected to be an active participant at all three days. You will also be expected to do some outside preparation to be brought in for the next training session.
Trainers are: Randi Cohen LPCC-S, ACS; Philip Yassenoff LPCC-S; Jeri Stevens PhD, LCPC, ACS, Deb Drew, EdD, ACS; Pat Polanski PhD, LPCC-S
