Ultimately, we are each responsible for our own ethical choices in the world. Through experiences and dialogue we come to understand our personal, core ethical beliefs.

“Advanced Ethics” honors this challenging process of personal, ethical decision-making. Through a respectful and open dialogue we intend to explore ethics in the counselor/client relationship, in the supervisory experience, and at the policy level. In this workshop we will review ethical models, will discuss the difference between legal and ethical issues, and will bring our professional stories to the foreground in a supportive, small group environment.

Getting your CEU’s / CPEs for ethics need not be a lesson in boredom. “Advanced Ethics" makes this topic come alive and can help you understand how working through ethical dilemmas could enhance your relationships with your clients as well as assist you with clearer boundaries.

We limit attendance so everyone has the opportunity to participate, if they choose, in the discussions and questions. We know well that the mental health community is rich in individuals’ experience and wisdom. We want to offer a unique way for people to connect in a non-threatening manner and feel invigorated professionally.
